I was watching TV this morning when I heard a strange sound. After awhile I realized it was a hot air balloon.

The pilot had run out of gas and sat the balloon down at the intersection of Cameron Circle and St. Ives Dr.

The morning visitor really drew a crowd!

I'm not sure it wasn't just a well-timed advertising stunt. :-)

Eventually, the chase vehicle arrived and the started drawing down the balloon.

Using the guide ropes they were able to lower it right into the street.

The neighborhood children really loved the balloon. But they hated the gas smell as it was going down.
